A bit about the meaning of artfully Nordic

I am sure you have come across my catchphrase, marketing word, description of my style, SEO keyword etc - Artfully Nordic style. Have you been wondering how I came up with it and what is its background, meaning, well, the story in general. Please bare with me and I will tell you all about it.

I grew up in Finland, so that covers the geographic side of it.

Having lived almost half of my life here in UK, I would say I am still pretty much 100% Finnish - when it comes to my personality, sense of humour and common sense. And the photography style, or actually not just photographic style. Talking about way of thinking, practicality and approach into things in life, what colours and light I genuinely like. Seasons of the year. And family and friendships.

Is artfully Nordic style a selling point?

I say yes, it is a very good selling point. When you ask around, most people will say it means quality, sustainable, natural and has understanding of the importance of light.

Does this show in my photography

For me artfully Nordic style isn't just how the photograph looks, but also its whole visual story reflects, shows and carries that message and feeling it raises inside you. Even when I capture images of outside of the Nordics. You know what I mean by this?
